Two best friends of Bollywood, Karan Johar and SRK have always delivered memorable hit films. Right from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham to Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. The duo has always been a winning team.
Now it is learned that SRK’s home production Billoo Barber which is being directed by Priyadarshan has been postponed. It will now release with Karan Johar’s forthcoming film Dostana.
Billoo Barbar is slated to release this year on 24th October but now its release date has been shifted to 14th November. Therefore it will now release with Karan Johar’s Dostana . An industry insider informs that Priyadashan is yet to complete its shooting. However makers of BB have decided to prepone its release. Interestingly director Tarun Mansukhani’s John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra starrer Dostana is one of the biggest films of the year.
Incidentally Dostana is slated to release on the same date. Now the problem is two big movies will clash on the same date.
According to a trade expert both are big movies of the year and if both movies will clash on the same date, one film has to suffer. Since BB is SRK’s home production, needless to say that he will promote it in a big way. But looking at the Karan and Shah Rukh friendship and their previous hit films, the duo will certainly try to avoid this clash.
It is known that they will soon work together for My Name Is Khan. Apparently the clash has made the two friends rivals. Let’s see who turns out to be the winner!
