cheap and fast cars??

i have been wanting to buy a car for a while.. but i am not quite sure which one to buy.. i want a car that is cheap and fast.. the only amount i am willing to buy is upto £3000. it needs to have 5doors

i no, you cant find cars really fast at that amount.. but i want it be something suitable for a first timer.. any suggestion or any ideas which car would be preferable.. if it does exceed that amount.. am not to bothered but as long as the insurance group is low

My 2nd car is a toyota corolla 1.3 GS and it is FAST in the right hands and has 5 doors.

You should be looking to get a small engine car if you wanna have low insurance premium.

renault clio
peugeot 306
vw golf
ford fiesta
ford ka
peugeot 206

look for: hot hatches

2nd hand is good but make sure you spend a bit of money and do a HPI check to find out if the car was written off before as that will affect ur insurance if you need to make a claim and could also give you probs with the car down the line after you have bought it

pimped: so many choices.. i wudnt mind the ford ka.. but its only 3doors.. like i sed.. i wantd a car thats 5doors.. an u got a toyoto corollo??.. what happend to the car that u pimped up on tv eh?? i can still memba u so shocked and surprised seeing ur car transformed and u actually loved it.. did u cost u to get it transformed??

i was considering to get a citreon c3 that has bhp of 75.. but then am being a bit greedy and wantin a much faster car then that.. at a cheap insiurance.. coz to get myself insured on that car wud only cost me £900 a year :)
